Hi, I'm Andrew.

I'm a professional photographer based in Perth, Western Australia.

In mid 2000 I took off to Sydney to see the Olympic Games. Turned out Sydney was pretty good, I stayed there for the next eleven years.

In 2006 I commenced work as a senior associate photographer for one of Australia's leading candid wedding studios. Around the same time I was assisting high end fashion & commercial photographers where I gained not only a solid grounding in studio lighting technique but also valuable experience in the collaboration process and efficiencies involved with corporate & commercial photography.

However it was shooting weddings that would became my main focus for the next 10 years. It’s often a fast paced, unpredictable environment in which you’re constantly thinking on your feet and solving problems on the go. As a wedding photographer I quickly learned I needed to be capable of shooting in a range of conditions and lighting situations, most of which was totally out of my control.

It was pretty much what ever the day threw at you.

The wedding industry also covers so many different photography genres. Photojournalism, still life, macro, landscape, environmental portraiture; as a wedding photographer I had to be proficient in all of these areas. Weddings by nature come with a ‘no second chance’ clause attached, failure was quite simply never an option.

In early 2011 we pulled stumps and returned to Perth permanently. Since relocating back home my focus has shifted more towards the corporate & commercial realm. My goal is to produce high quality imagery to assist in promoting your products and services more effectively with the end result being to help you and your business succeed.

Whether it be a simple headshot for your social media profile, product photography for your small scale business start up or major commercial project I'll always bring the same ‘can do/failure is not an option’ attitude to the table.
