FAQ

What costs are involved?

This varies from job to job as there’s quite a few factors to consider. Once I have an idea of the scope of your project I can then supply you with a definitive industry competitive quote.

Planning Process, what's involved?

Ideally we'll start with a phone call where I'll listen to your ideas & requirements. From there I'll put together a strategy for you to review including all costs involved. Next we'll refine the strategy according to any feedback you have. Once this is all nailed down to your satisfaction then it's game on, we'll go ahead and schedule a shoot date.

Do we need a company rep present for shoots?

While not essential I absolutely and highly recommend it. Being present for the duration of the shoot enables real time feedback and ensures you get the results you're looking for.

High res/low res, what’s the difference?

High resolution images are delivered as JPEG files at 300ppi. This is exactly what you'll need for all printing applications.

Low resolution images are delivered as JPEG files at 72ppi. These are smaller files which is what you'll need for fast website loading and social media use.

All jobs are delivered in both high & low resolution in whatever aspect ratio you require.

Other file types are available on request.

Turnarounds. When can we expect our finished images?

Most jobs can be ready for delivery in a few days (72 hours). However this does depend on what level of post production is required. We'll confirm this at the end of the shoot.

Do you offer a rush turnaround service for urgent jobs?

Sure do however it does incur additional cost. 24 hour turnaround will add 50% of the total shoot fee while 48 hour turnaround will add 25% of the total shoot fee.

Payment terms, credit cards?

Unless discussed prior & agreed to I require 50% payment upfront with the balance due 14 days after your images are delivered.

And yes, credit cards are fine.

How will our finished images be delivered?

Finished images are made available for you to download using our dedicated galleries in the CLIENT area right here on the website.

You'll also be able to download your images in a variety of sizes depending on your requirements.

Copyright & image licensing, who owns it?

As per Australian law copyright remains with the photographer. However a perpetual ‘all uses’ image license is included with all completed jobs. So you can use your images however you want. Forever.

If sole ownership/copyright of your images is a requirement for you or your company then full rights can be purchased for 100% of the original shoot fee.

Where are you located?

I’m based south of the river in Beeliar. About a 15 minute drive from Fremantle, 25 minutes from the Perth CBD and about 5 minutes from Cockburn Central train station.

Are you available for jobs in regional areas?

Most certainly. However additional costs may be incurred depending on travel time and length of stay.
